2026-2027 Pre-ECNL OVC Applications

WHAT’S NEW FOR 2026-2027!!!

For 2026-2027, the following Divisions are available:

U-9 (2018-2017) | 7v7 for both Fall & Spring Seasons | Build out lines are required
U-10 (2017-2016) | 7v7 for both Fall & Spring Seasons | Build out lines are required
U-11 (2016-2015) | 9v9 for both Fall & Spring Seasons
U-12 (2015-2014) | 9v9 for both Fall & Spring Seasons | For Spring 2027, teams may agree to play 11v11. This will be a game to game situation where both teams involved must agree before the game is scheduled.

Please note that we will only consider clubs that have at least 2 teams applied. Meaning, if you wish to only apply 1 boys team and/or 1 girls team, you will not be considered for league acceptance. For example, if you apply 2 boys teams, you will be considered.

Due to the ECNL’s increased involvement in Pre-ECNL events, we will no longer be hosting Pre-ECNL Crossover events. The ECNL will continue to add events which makes it very difficult to plan dates and centrally located venues for Crossovers for all members. Please note that all Pre-ECNL events hosted by the ECNL have an additional fee. Eligible attendees must be an ECNL Club, ECNL RL Club or a member of a sanctioned Pre-ECNL League. Entry is not Mandatory. Entry is Not Guaranteed and determined by matchups, event field space and ultimately a decision by the ECNL.

All Teams/Clubs in the Pre-ECNL Ohio Valley Conference for 2026-2027 will need to complete all player and coach registration in GotSport. Once cleared/approved through GotSport, Players and Coaches will then be permitted to be uploaded into the Athlete One system for league rosters and Game day Manager. All Pre-ECNL games will still be required to use the ECNL App to check-in players/coaches and report scores.

The Pre-ECNL Ohio Valley Conference Carding Prices for 2026-2027 will be the same as 2025-2026 and NOT the $61.25/card per the U13-U19 ECNL/ECNL RL Players.

U-9 to U-11 | $19.25/player
U-12 | $25.25/player

All Coaches in any ECNL Sanctioned League are required to complete the Coaches Voice requirement of 5 hours online education before being approved and sanctioned to coach in an ECNL Sanctioned League. This includes all coaches in the Pre-ECNL Ohio Valley Conference.

The Pre-ECNL Ohio Valley Conference is a recognized pathway into the Midwest District 1 & District 2 National 1 League (N1).
